Metal spinning technology, also known as metal flow-forming process, uses rotation to move the force point from point to line and from line to surface, while applying a certain amount of pressure in a certain direction to deform and flow the metal material in that direction to form a certain shape. It includes two forms: strong spinning and ordinary spinning. Power spinning is a mature processing technology used for spinning and forming shells of various cylindrical and conical shapes. Ordinary spinning is the process of fixing a flat or hollow billet onto the mold of a spinning machine. While the billet is randomly rotated by the main spindle of the bed, a spinning wheel is used to apply pressure to the billet, causing local plastic deformation and completing processes such as deep drawing, flanging, necking, bulging, and curling of various shapes of rotating bodies. Low carbon steel, stainless steel, brass, pure copper, aluminum, titanium and other metal materials can all be processed by metal spinning.
Metal spinning machines are widely used in metal processing and forming in various industries, such as wheel hub, automotive parts (shock absorbers, three-way catalysts), gas cylinders, hardware accessories (Venturi valves, Venturi tubes, metal discs), kitchenware (cups, bowls, pots), musical instruments, lighting fixtures, aerospace, and so on.
