The difference of hand spinning and CNC spinning
The CNC metal spinning develop based on hand spinning ,but many people don't know the difference of hand spinning and CNC spinning ,we will introduce the different details and make you know easily .

① Metal spinning mold
CNC spinning need a higher precision mold than hand spinning .hand spinning like to use the material of hard nylon and 45# steel to make mold,but CNC metal spinning needs 45# and Cr12mov to make mold ,because CNC spinning mold bears more spun force than hand spinning ,the hand metal spinning mold can't bear CNC metal spinning force ,it will wear and deform quickly .
② Spinning path
Hand spinning controls the spinning path by hand ,but CNC spinning controls the spinning path by CNC program ,hand spinning is easier to make sample ,but the production is not stable ,because hand force is not stable when spinner is tired in the production ,so hand force can't control the accuracy of the gap of spinning roller and mold ,it effects the accuracy of spun part ,CNC metal spinning controls the spinning path by CNC program.
③ The accuracy of spun part
● The accuracy of hand spinning mold is lower than CNC metal spinning.
● The accuracy of hand spinning path is lower than CNC metal spinning.
● The force of hand spinning is less than CNC metal spinning.
So the accuracy of spun parts : hand spinning < CNC metal spinning .

④ Spun thickness
CNC metal spinning machine can spin aluminum sheet over 6mm ,steel over 4mm,stainless steel over 3mm,but hand spinning just can spin aluminum under 1.5mm,steel under 1.2mm,stainless steel under 1mm.
So the sheet is thicker and harder ,the hand spinning can't spin it .

Hand spinning usually spin the product that don't need accuracy ,such as lampshade ,tableware ,vase. The spindle speed of hand spinning is higher than CNC metal spinning ,so hand spinning can make a smoother surface than CNC spinning in thin sheet (such as aluminum thickness is less than 1.2mm. CNC spinning has a better surface in thick sheet spun .)
